JAKE & JOSH

WASHINGTON, D.C. - 10.24.26

Yay!! We're Getting Married!

Yay!! We're Getting Married!

Join us as we celebrate this new chapter in our lives together. You can find all the essential details below. We hope to see you there!

Our story

We met in Providence, Rhode Island when we were both students at Brown University. Jake was in the graduate acting program and Josh was allegedly studying English, but basically full time staff at the Brown Undergrad Theatre Department.

Fate brought us together working on an ill-fated acapella musical. Josh sent out a daily call canceling rehearsal due to a blizzard – Jake responded (cheekily) – the rest is history.

Since then, we’ve lived many places and worn many hats. New York City where we both suffered nobly until we said “enough!” (i.e., fled Covid), Ivry-Sur-Lac (a balm for the soul), Connecticut (a necessary detour), and finally Washington D.C. – where Josh became a lawyer, Jake discovered an incredible theater community, and we both found home.

Alongside Mosely — our geriatric, ill-tempered, mini Aussie — we’ve spent the last 11 years building a beautiful life together, and we are looking forward to sharing a celebration of our partnership with you this October.

We hope you can join us and if you’re reading this. . . we love you! See you soon.
